New Car Prep is a service that we provide to help keep your new, huge investment looking it’s best for an extended period of time.  It’s more than a detail, it’s more than a paint coating, it’s a full package meant to protect nearly every aspect of your new vehicle.

We start with our Ultimate One Step Detail, the main difference being that we polish the vehicle with a product that does not contain any wax.  We then wipe down the vehicle with a coating prep to remove any trace of sealants, waxes or silicone based products that could affect the coating process.  Once the vehicle has been thoroughly cleaned, polished and decontaminated, we are ready to start the process of coating the entire vehicle.  Surfaces coated include:

• Tires coated with Gyeon Q2 Tire
• Wheels coated with Gyeon Q2 Rim
• Leather surfaces coated with Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield
• Carpet, mats and fabric surfaces coated with Gyeon Q2 FabricCoat
• Windows coated with Gyeon Q2 View
• Exterior trim coated with Gyeon Q2 Trim
• Vehicles painted surfaces coated with Gyeon Q2 Mohs

As you can see, no surface is left unprotected.  This service is truly a new car prep designed to keep your new car looking “new” for years to come.

We use a full lineup of Gyeon Q2 products, including Gyeon Q2 Mohs for the paint coating.  These are high quality, professional grade products not products that can be purchased cheaply at the local auto parts store or big box emporium.

As with anything, your mileage will vary, literally.  Some of the coatings, such as the window, wheel and tire coatings would require reapplication after 6 months to a year.  The interior coating products are good for 12-18 months.  The paint and trim coatings will typically last 1-2 years.  These times can vary depending on your usage, garaged parking, interior wear and tear (kids, dogs, etc.), weather and how the vehicle is maintained throughout this time.

The main benefit besides making your vehicle look great is that it will be much easier to maintain and much more resistant to abuse heaped on your vehicle on a daily basis.  Food won’t stick and stains won’t penetrate the seats and carpets as easily.  Bird bombs and insects won’t start eating into the clearcoat if not removed immediately.  Brake dust and road grim won’t eat into the finish of your wheels.  Your windshield will remain clear during rain storms making driving safer.

Frankly, there are a lot of benefits to properly maintaining your vehicles, from a more comfortable, safer driving experience to higher resale or trade in value when you’re ready to move on to your next vehicle.

This service allows you to start your new car out on the right foot rather than chasing problems later when it may be too late, i.e., when the clearcoat has started to fail from neglect or the coffee that got spilled a year ago has set into the carpet and can’t be removed.

This job will require booking for a full day.  Additionally, we will make sure that no rain is in the the forecast for that day of the appointment or the next few days after, giving the exterior coatings a couple days to completely cure.  Lastly, these jobs will only be scheduled for days where the temperature will be below 90* for the entire day.
